Cherry St Pier
A visit to the Cherry Street Pier is a must this season! The sites are gorgeous, the smells are fresh, and the tastes are as yummy as ever!
I loved spending time at the pier sampling bites from little baby’s ice cream, a vodka soda from the fully stocked bar, beautiful art from local talent, and oh did I mention the views?! The views alone are a reason to go to Cherry Street Pier!! Look below to see what I mean…
Both girls AND guys, even families were there by the water taking pics nonstop. Photos of the pier may look nice, but nothing does the place justice besides going in person and seeing it for yourself. Personally, I recommend going either in the morning when the sun is fully out and it’s not as crowded OR right at 4pm when the food vendors open plus in time to see the sun set so beautifully on the horizon.
If you’re worried about crowds and feeling claustrophobic, don’t be! The pier is spacious and has a beautiful glass ceiling that makes the space feel endless. Plus there are so many crevices to explore. At ground level there are food options, a bar, a new installation of art, shipping containers filled with even more art, plus like I’ve been saying all along — some serious #VIEWS. You’re able to see miles into the distance combining the stunning sights of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, Race Street Pier, and all the boats floating on by! OH and make sure you climb the stairs to get a different perspective on the space, plus you’ll be able to see more of the artists and vendors who have creative studios within.
This may seem like a minute detail, but the hospitality was superb and something that really shouldn’t go unsaid. Every employee there from the security to the vendors to the artists were SO friendly and helpful and to me that really makes or breaks an experience.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Cherry Street Pier and would LOVE to hear your thoughts. Comment below if you’ve been!! And if you’re one of the (lame) ones who hasn’t been YET, please feel free to comment or email me any questions you may have! I highly recommend a visit to this must-see attraction.
